Lancashire Lass was launched during the summer of 2004 for a client that wanted both speed and family cruising comfort in a custom centerboard sloop. A centerboard that carries 800 lbs of lead ballast gives Lancashire Lass stability upwind with medium displacement and a shallow draft. The raised deck house and large windows create a spacious and bright interior and allow excellent visibility.
