This boat holds a special place in Sportfishing History. She is hull #2 and is the boat that Jim Smith built for his own personal use. She was redone as the "Speed Merchant" for Dick Moroso, and was widely known for being the fastest sportfish boat in most every circle. She was treated to a complete re-fit in 2008, complete with twin Cummins Common Rail (QSC8.3-540hp) engines, Twin Disk Transmissions, ZF "palm beach style" electronic controls, all new Navigational equipment, new Northern Lights generator, new Plumbing, new heads, new electrical system, new HVAC equipment, new Galley equipment, new cockpit freezer and refrigerator, new Release Marine fighting chair and twin pedestal helm chairs, all new interior goods including custom salon sofas. The exterior was re-painted in 2015. Old School style, with modern amenities!
