Jeanneau builds the 379 with a solid laminate hull and a structural grid that carries keel and rig loads into the lower hull, so the boat stays stiff and quiet when the breeze fills in.

The cockpit of Polaris is designed for comfort and functionality, featuring wood inlay on the bench seating and a teak cockpit floor. There are plenty of storage options, including a locker under the bench seat, a large lazarette under the port helm, and a dedicated compartment for the liferaft between the helm seats.

A fold down swim platform with a telescopic swim ladder provides easy water access, and the cockpit table adds to the usability. The helm station is well appointed with two leather covered steering wheels, compasses, stainless steel grab rails, and engine controls at the starboard helm. The custom dodger, bimini and connector cover the whole station, and the bimini was cleaned and repaired this season with the isinglass replaced.

Polaris offers a thoughtfully designed and comfortable interior, perfect for cruising or weekend getaways. The "Teak" laminated panels, solid wood trim, and light oak laminate floorboards create a warm and inviting space that shows its age well.

The forward owner’s cabin features a central double berth with a high density foam mattress and ample storage, while the aft cabin provides a large double berth and easy access to a well equipped head with a separate shower. The saloon is bright and spacious, with U shaped seating, a luxury folding table, and additional berth options.

Polaris is equipped with a range of comfort features designed to enhance your time onboard. Airflow comes from two opening cockpit and roof ports, two opening ports in the lateral windows, and four opening deck hatches, each fitted with combination shade and insect screens.

The climate control system includes a 16,000 BTU reverse cycle air conditioning and heat unit installed under the saloon seating, with vents in the saloon, forward cabin, and aft cabin. That keeps the interior comfortable in August and extends the season into November.

Hot and cold pressurized water runs throughout, with a water heater fed by both the engine and shore power, so there is hot water underway and at the dock. One item to disclose up front: the auxiliary 35 gallon tank under the aft starboard berth has a small leak. It has not been repaired and is offered as is. The 53 gallon forward tank is the primary supply and is sound.
