WALKTHROUGH
"About Time" SLEEPS 5 IN FWD V BERTH, 2 SETTEES AND AN AFT QUARTER BERTH
ACCOMMODATIONS:
There is a comfortable V Berth forward with a large opening hatch and cloth privacy curtain. Aft on starboard is the roomy head with commode, sink, shower, wet locker, teak towel ring and cup/toothbrush holder and opening port.
Across on port from the head is a hanging locker. Continuing aft is the main saloon. The IP27 is a very comfortable and safe pocket cruiser that seems much larger than 27' implies, with a cleverly designed bulkhead hung table on starboard that is out of the way when not needed, making the saloon seem so much larger than most boats. The starboard settee converts to form a double berth. The settee on port is long enough to allow an adult to sleep.
The L-shaped galley is aft of the saloon on port side with sink w/ faucet & mechanical sprayer, ice box, and two burner, alcohol stove. There is good counter space with a drop-down counter extension & teak paper towel holder. Good storage as well.
The Companionway rises over the engine compartment with an access door under the steps. It is centered and divides the galley and the quarter berth entrance. The quarter berth is large enough for a couple to sleep comfortably.
The cockpit is long enough to accommodate your sailing crew, your guests, and has the room for that lazy afternoon nap.

Older Systems: As a 1989 model, some systems and equipment may be outdated and require upgrades or replacements, which can add to maintenance costs.
Draft Considerations: The deeper draft may limit access to shallower cruising areas, which could be a drawback for those looking to explore coastal regions.
