This Island Hopper has been owned and operated by the same captain for the last 21 years. It was custom built for the previous owner for use as a water taxi but was sold after 3 years. He is now ready for retirement but the boat is in good shape and ready to go to work. It will serve well for charter fishing, harbor tours, diving and snorkeling, or as a water taxi.

The Island Hopper 30 was originally developed over 3-1/2 decades ago to fill the need for a small, versatile, commercial grade vessel with strength, durability and a long working life that could be bought for, and maintained, at a reasonable cost. Today it remains as true to those original goals as the day the first Island Hopper was built.

Individually built to order using quality commercial grade components, entirely hand-laid including a solid fiberglass hull with no coring, rugged durability and long life are the trademarks of Island Hoppers everywhere.

Over the years Island Hoppers have developed a devout following far beyond what the original developer foresaw. Fishing captains depend on Island Hoppers worldwide and the same is true for the dive, parasail, ferry and numerous other water-oriented businesses. With literally hundreds of Island Hoppers in service worldwide it has established itself as one of the premier workboats in use today.

A strong, durable, dependable boat that is economical to own and operate and whose working life is measured not in years, but decades. The Island Hopper is possibly the best selling vessel ever built that has been issued a USCG Certificate of Inspection. It is certainly the most popular COI vessel I have ever sold
