Refit Underway To World Class Custom Yacht. As New, Bristol Condition with Limited Warranty

For an estimated total for custom conversion of only US $7m*. This immaculately maintained, 148-foot former Japanese government patrol vessel, recently purchased by HYS Yachts for yacht refit. Is available now . Conversion style and layout to your preferences. HYS will strive to meet your requirements in this refit. This vessel was built and maintained to Japanese Military spec to date. Main engine and drive train rebuilt to zero hours in 2012 in Japan. The value of the engine room machinery alone exceeds entire cost of vessel refit. This vessel will provide a 12,000 nautical mile cruising range at 11 knots. 14 knot cruise. 15.5 knot top speed.This capability is due good hull design. Included in a HYS refit is complete renewal of all interior and exterior surfaces. Plus updated mechanical to proper yacht standards.
The refit process includes:
- Reconfiguration of new exterior style and interior layout.
- Most surfaces taken down to bare metal to receive yacht grade finish in and out.
- 100% new yacht interior includes custom cabinetry and lighting.
- New galley with top line appliances.
- New heads, fixtures, plumbing and pumps.
- New floor coverings to yacht quality.
- New helm with navigation instrumentation.
- All quarters have new entertainment systems, custom bedding, window covers, and air conditioning.
- Engine room cleaned, painted and renewed.
Paint work and surface finishing includes:
- All paint work will be applied to a standard no less than the quality found on prior HYS refit project M/Y "Dr. No".
- All exterior woodwork will be varnished with seven coats of Epiphanies high-gloss varnish.
- All steel aluminum to be blasted, de-greased, lightly sanded, acid washed and shop primed with a protective primer. Shop primer is to be applied promptly after cleaning.
- All outside steelwork, inside of peaks, tank tops and bilges after repair will be carefully de-gusted at the places where the protective coating is damaged and then re-coated in an approved manner to the original specification.
- The exterior of superstructure and exposed areas of decks are to receive fairing compound in sufficient thickness and coats to eliminate all unfair areas. Proper priming of plates is to be done before compound is applied. Topcoats to be Alexseal (Class A finish).
- Entire exterior of hull and boot top will receive spot fairing only. Proper priming of plates will be done before compound is applied. Topcoats will be Alexseal (Class B finish).
- Bottom Paint is to be Ocean Master.
- All other paint or varnish work not enumerated to be first class and in keeping with the finish of the yacht.
New equipment, which carries full manufactures warranty, includes:
- Kohler Port and Starboard Generators, 125 Kw- 2200Vac/3ph/60 Hz.
- Aft Davit, rated 800 Kg @ 4 meter reach.
- Two FCI Aquamiser water makers. Each rated at 6,814 liters/day 220v 60hz 3ph.
- Fresh Water System: Headhunter Marine HydroPaq duplex water pressure system rated at 58 US gallons per minute @60 PSI.
- Fire Detection System and FM200 Fire System which complies with international convention for safety of life at sea (SOLAS) rule 1974 and amendments 81, 83, and comes with all certificates.
- All watertight doors will be in accordance with IACS rules.
- All newly supplied electrical equipment, wiring, cables, fixtures, etc. and the complete installation practices will be in accordance with IACS rules.

- Draft: 2.8 meter/9 feet
- Main Engine: 1800 HP (MAN B&W Niigata). Zero hour rebuild 2012.
- Engine and drive train newly overhauled by Japanese government to military spec.
