Windhorse is a lightly used Hylas 49 being offered for the first time on the brokerage market. The original owner has kept her in the Caribbean and used only 3 months a year. During a ten year period she was covered and not used at all. Following that lay up period she was fully serviced and continues to be used for just 3 months per year.
Windhorse shows extremely well as her limited use is evident. She is well equipped and cruise ready.
The Hylas 49 is one of the most sought after of the Hylas designs. She features 3 cabins, bow thruster, dinghy, AC , solar, new bottom paint and aluminum toerail eliminating the need for varnishing a large toerail.
Windhorse is a very lightly used Hylas 49 with the traditional layout that allows access to the aft cabin from both port and starboard. She features the traditional teak and holly sole with blue Ultrasuede upholstery, louvered cabinet doors and a custom inlaid dining table. What is very event is the condition of all the teak surfaces. She looks like she is a 5-7 year old at best.
The generous salon features wrap around seating and dining table. A settee to starboard that slides out making a proper sea berth. The navigation station with seating is forward facing. The passageway galley features a large stainless double sink, light Wahlee stone countertops with top and front loading refrigeration system, and a Force ten cook top and oven.
The master suite is aft with centerline queen, extensive storage, and natural light and ventilation. The aft head features a shower and Jabsco toilet.
Third cabin is to port with over/under berths and good storage.
The VIP cabin is forward with full width V-berth, great storage, and natural light and ventilation. The two forward cabins share a head with dual access doors. The head features a Jabsco toilet, sink and folding seat in shower.
