Barely Used Deck Boat - Great Buy!
Hurricane had much success with it's greatest value, the SS-188 and for 2016 they could not resist making it a little better. New additions to the Hurricane SS-188 include a new Italian themed, styled, and manufactured steering wheel, improved storage compartments throughout the boat and featuring an inner liner layer, premium textured vinyl, and chrome cup holders.
Hurricane puts every square foot of cockpit area to good use. There's lots of stowage, too, including an under-deck locker for skis or boards. It even has an optional Porta Potty. With an added drop curtain the rear bench seat area turns into a changing/rest room.
At 18'10", the Hurricane SunDeck Sport 188 is about the same length as the average runabout, but with it's 8' 5" beam carried well forward, it can easily seat 10. The Hurricane SS-188 has swim platform with a four step boarding ladder and covered anchor locker on the bow to keep swimmers away from the prop. Other beach treats are the fiberglass liner and port console. The port console offers several amenities including a comfortable backrest for a forward passengers, cup holders, and a convenient storage compartment for the little things that always get misplaced like cell phones and sun screen.
The optional Yamaha 150 4-stroke offers plenty of power and will get you on plane in less than 4 seconds. This unique boat offer's a lot for the price tag and is why it's the number one selling deck boat on the market today.
