This 45DS is in absolutely top notch condition. Even though she is a 2008 model she shows as well as a new boat. She didn't go into service with her one owner until 2009 and she has been used sparingly in Lake Champlain's fresh water ever since. Plus she is absolutely loaded with equipment like In-Mast Furling, Air Conditioning/Heat, Generator, Bow Thruster, Autopilot, Electric Flush Heads, Raymarine 7000 Autopilot, Raymarine E120 & E80 w/GPS, Antenna, Vertical Battens, Electric Halyard Winch, Dodger/Bimini/Connector, a big 23" Flat Screen with Bose Stereo/DVD and much more!
The Hunter 45DS is the most popular large boat in the Hunter fleet. She is a very quick cruising boat with the best layout above and below the deck. Hunter is the innovation leader and this boat shows it. She is easy to sail single handed with the small (easy to tack) jib, end boom sheeting on the main (easy to haul in) and double ended mainsheet (all sails trimmed from the helm). Her twin wheels provide exciting side rail steering and a larger, easy walk-thru cockpit. She has the best in-mast furling system (easy to reef and easy to stow) by Selden Spars. The new generation Glenn Henderson designed hull shows off the unique bow hollow and waterline lengthening stern reflex. The deck profile sports a stylish wrap-a-round windshield, and down below she has a huge salon and a center island queen berth in the master cabin.
