The second owners of the boat purchased her in Bradenton, Florida. They kept her in Pensacola for a couple of years until they took a leisurely two months to sail around Florida and up the east coast to Maryland. Gypsy Cricket spent 7 years in the Chesapeake Bay with the boat docked in Solomon's Island, Maryland. Seeking warmer weather, the owners moved back to Florida and sailed south and had her docked at Naval Air Station, Jacksonville. Though the owners love the vessel, they are unable to use her due to career commitments and would like to see her bring joy to another couple or family!
Gypsy Cricket is a comfortable cruiser with a spacious cockpit, tons of light in the salon, and an unbelievable amount of stowage! Her mast has been cut down to make her ICW-friendly. All of her running rigging draws back to the cockpit to make single-handing a breeze. The sugar-scoop transom makes access to the water an easy hop-off and makes getting kids, dogs, and toys back aboard simple. This vessel has multiple opening deck hatches to allow airflow throughout the boat.
You will be pleasantly surprised by the amount of light and gracious living spaces available on this Hunter. She's a beauty! Make an appointment to see her today!
