"The Hunter 42 Center Cockpit coastal cruiser with a very comfortable layout. The cockpit is fully enclosed with canvas and isinglass connected to a sturdy, stainless steel arch carrying the main sheet traveler. This creates a standing room "pilothouse" that is removable for an open cockpit. Its strategic rigging placement allows for easy line handling from the cockpit. This boat is a great compromise between sailing performance and cruising comfort.
Some believe this cutter rig is the best Hunter has produced, from the bow and the below deck windlass and wash down to the clean and uncluttered deck back to the step down transom- making boarding or diving and swimming very effortless. The large center cockpit has lots of room and new canvas bimini and dodger, autopilot, speed, depth and wind instruments to keep the captain on course. All the sails are in good condition- the main is three years old.
This 42 Passage has a large main salon and aft stateroom. It has 16 opening ports with screens and 5 hatches. It also has 2 A/C units to help keep you cool, 8KW Onan generator.
