The Hunter 31-2 (referred to as the Hunter 31) is a 31-foot fractional sloop designed by Glenn Henderson for coastal cruising. She features an 11.08 ft beam, a 3.92 ft shoal draft, and solid headroom at just over 6ft. The B&R rig (no backstay) provides stability and ease of handling, while the design emphasizes cockpit space and interior volume.
Rigged as a fractional sloop, she is equipped with an in-mast furling Doyle mainsail and a 110% roller furling genoa, allowing for convenient sail handling from the cockpit.
