Hunt 28 Hardtop Pilothouse Express in exceptional condition. Built by Medeiros Boatworks in Canada, this C Raymond Hunt design is very similar to a Surfhunter but far roomier with it's enclosed pilothouse and very spacious and livable cabin. Re-Powered in 2015 with a Yanmar 6BY2 diesel (only 400 hours) for reliable and economical performance.

This Hunt 28 is a rare and sought after C Raymond Hunt designed hardtop pilothouse express built in Canada by Medeiros Boatworks Ltd of Ontario (Builders of Limestone Boats). Very similar in hull design to a Surfhunter but far roomier with it's enclosed pilothouse and very spacious cabin.
The cockpit is accessed from the Permateak covered swim platform via the transom door. The cockpit and pilothouse are on one level with Permateak underfoot for safe, secure, and comfortable footing. The motorbox and pilothouse seats have been newly reupholstered in a two-tone diamond pattern with matching cooler cushion. The pilothouse features opening side windows and an aft drop curtain for plenty of ventilation while providing the convenience and protection of a hardtop. A new cockpit cover attached to the hardtop and transom provides complete protection. The fully equipped helm offers terrific visibility with easy access to the Raymarine electronics suite and engine controls.
The interior is warm and inviting with beautiful teak wood throughout. The cabin has a fully equipped galley to port and an enclosed head opposite to starboard. Forward you'll find a convertible V-berth with a table for below-decks dining. Hood opening portlights and overhead hatch provide natural lighting and ventilation.
