HAWKSBILL is on just her third owner after 48 years! Her second owner had her for nearly 30 years. Her easily-driven hull produces nine knots from her single Cat 3306 (new in '93) while sipping 5 gallons of fuel both per hour. Talk about efficient sensible cruising!  Robustly built while visually wholesome and elegant with exceptional pedigree; designed by John Alden, she was built by one of the all-time greatest boat builders, Sonny Hodgdon of Hodgdon Bros., in East Boothbay, Maine.  Her current owner changed jobs shortly after purchasing her three years ago and has not had time to use her and she now MUST BE SOLD!  At this very attractive offering price the seller will not consider any trades. The photos in the first half were taken when we had her listed in 2004; the latter photos were taken on 10/29/13.  Her interior is much the same as seen here.  Her transom and house need notable repairs and no doubt a survey will find more than a broker with good wood boat knowledge can find.
