The Hobie Mirage Tandem Island is a most unusual boat.
You can sail it, you can paddle it, and you can pedal it!
BOAT COMES WITH TRAILER and HOBIE CRADLES!
This boat was donated to the Lake Winnipesaukee Sailing Association by a gentleman who had to part with it because he has "aged out of it." The boat was built in 2012, has been used very little in recent years, and it still looks like a brand-new boat! It has always been stored inside during the winter. The trailer is three years old and has been customized to fit this trimaran.
As a trimaran, this boat is extremely stable. It has two sturdy padded seats and can be pedaled and steered from each seat with the boat's unique Mirage Drive. When you are ready to sail you stay in your seat and just pull on the furling line to un-roll the sail and off you go! And pull another line when you are ready to roll it up. The two paddles, which are stored with bungees alongside the cockpit, are easy to reach when you are ready.
The boat is easy to trailer and easy to launch, and you can set the boat up in a few minutes and you will be ready to go.
