The Hobie Revolution 13 makes a great fishing kayak with its extensive features. The Kick-Up fin feature on its 180 MirageDrive automatically retract upon impact of a submerged object to avoid damage to the fins. Simply begin to peddle again once clear of the object, and the Kick-Up fins begin to function safely and effortlessly.
Other impressive features include rod holders, a forward closing hatch, a sail mount, mesh storage pockets, forward and aft toggle handles, side handles, an ultra comfy mesh Vantage CT seat, a Twist and Stow rudder with up/down control, an aft cargo well so that you never have to leave your gear behind, two 8" twist and seal hatches, and the Lowrance ready transducer mount.
At just 70.5 lbs, the Revo 13 has a carrying capacity of 350 lbs, so you can load it with plenty of gear for the day. This makes a great recreational kayak, as well. When paddling instead of peddling, it still tracks very well and has a great turning radius.
