1979 61' Custom Motoryacht Designed by Hendel 2 Stateroom
This is a classic motoryacht in the best sense of the term. Graceful, custom designed and custom built she is capable of comfortable cruising or full time living.
Designed by the famed naval architect Geerd Hendel she is a spacious cruiser with classic lines. With a single diesel engine and a large generator she is designed to allow long passages while remaining self sufficient.
There are several large interior spaces allowing comfortable on water living. An airy salon is behind the helm. This space features large window and doors allowing for sunny and airy comfort. There is a rear cockpit accessible from the salon and a swim platform allowing water access,
Moving forward and below there is a large galley, bar and dining area all featuring beautiful custom woodwork. Numerous cabinets and drawers provide ample storage space. The galley features a stove with oven, microwave and a double sink. There is an older cold plate installation not currently being used.
To the rear is a the owners cabin with island berth, full private head with shower and copious storage space. Forward of the lower salon is a second cabin with twin beds and another private head with shower.
Exterior spaces are large and easily accessible. Wide side decks lead to wing doors to port and starboard. There is a large open area at the bow and a windlass to handle ground tackle.
The vessel has been used very successfully in recent years as a yacht based nightly rental and could continue in this role or be used as an in city pied-a-terre by new owners.
