SEA AXIS has has been fully restored with a commitment by her owner to keeping her Dutch heritage intact. With a structural rebuild in Europe that spanned two years (2009-2010), and more recent interior refurbishments in 2015 and 2018, SEA AXIS has benefited from extensive financial investments by highly experienced owners. Some of the highlights include: extension of decks, re-plating of hull sections, engine and generator overhauls, major ABS surveys, replacement of stainless, new water makers, AC handlers, new engine room piping, new carpets and fabrics, interior and exterior teak sanded or varnished, new exterior canvas and cushions, and upgraded audio visual entertainment systems. SEA AXIS has been maintained in ABS class since her construction at Heesen Yachts, and has crossed the Atlantic on several occasions. With her economical Duetz engines, and Dutch seakeeping capabilities, she is very capable of long open ocean runs, but is also quite comfortable cruising to hidden Caribbean anchorages. It is hard to find more value and quality packed into a like-sized yacht at this price. To replace her today would cost $30M.
