This 63' Hatteras GT63 convertible is an excellent opportunity to own a highly customized lightly used late model true pedigree build in the Sportfish community. The Trust Fun spared no expense in the construction and rigging by experienced captain and owner of this gorgeous 63 GT.

Do yourself the justice to see this vessel. It’s overall presentation, performance and ride will certainly not disappoint.

This premium sportfishing convertible is superior to other boats in its class thanks to its elegant Carolina styling, fine seakeeping qualities, and agile performance.

At heart, the GT63 is a showcase of the style that has resonated so well with convertible fans. Hatteras updated the look of the Carolina-style boat by taking styling cues from the classics to create a forward-thinking design. The Trust Fun was taken to the next level with careful thought during build, attention to detail and superb upgrades. Lines are enhanced with optional teak accents typically found on custom builds.

Owners are very satisfied with the GT63’s low end cruise speed of approximately 33 knots at 1900 plus burning approximately 120 GPH powered with a pair of 1925-bhp Caterpillar C32As. Built with long legs, the GT63 can take extended runs and overnighters. The speed is there when needed with a reduced weight build from the hull with its proven resin-infusion process. The 63GT can cruise 80% load at 35.5 knots with a top end 2325 RPMs of 40 knots. The technique produces a more uniform structure with a superior glass-to-resin ratio that also makes for a stronger structure and more precise fit of bulkheads and stringers.

The GT63 boasts a functional well balanced tournament proven cockpit. It’s sized and equipped to meet the high standards of the most experience crews. In addition to clever stowage for everything from tackle and rods to gaffs, there’s a recirculating livewell in the transom (with plenty of refrigeration and storage below including convenient refrigerated storage forward of the helm console). a second livewell in the sole, large in-deck ice/storage box and deep fore and aft fishbox. Passenger comfort is key in a top-notch cockpit too, so Hatteras engineered a mezzanine seat with a sloped backrest that offers a fantastic vantage point to watch the action or relax in comfort on the ride home. The ladder from the mezzanine leads to the open bridge, which features a center console helm, ample seating with storage. She carries a stout beam and superior ride that Hatteras owners have come to know.

CAT Plantinum ESC coverage with the balance of 2 years from December 1st 2014 or 1000 hours.

Vessel currently in Savannah, headed back to South FL December 1st.
