New reduced price on one of the nicest 53 EDs in the country!! Please take a look.

Most boaters I know love walking docks. Good exercise and doesn't cost much. Sometimes, every now and then while you're strolling along, there's a boat that just seems to stop you in your tracks. This is one of those boats. I'm really not sure if it's the classic lines, the "they just don't make them like that anymore" moment or if it's the gleaming white fiberglass, the glossy finish of the teak trim, that perfectly "squared away" look. It just jumps out at you. I know I'm not the only one who feels this way.

This lady's beauty is much more than skin deep. Her seaworthiness is legendary. As her Bahamian captain once told her slightly nervous owner during a Gulfstream crossing "Now you know why you bought a Hatteras boss". She'll take the seas most other boats have to turn and run from. She has benefitted immensely by having had only two owners, both local and both very knowledgeable. She has been amply equipped with everything necessary to get her crew and guests to any destination safely and comfortably. Though she has traveled south a half dozen times, Nashville has always been her safe harbor. Her maintenance has been constant. Her condition speaks for itself. I believe I'm safe in saying that you just won't find a better one.

Let's talk equipment. She's powered with 6V92TA Detroits, originally rated at 465 hp, now bumped to 560 hp. Port engine has just had complete upper & lower rebuild 3/12, now only 40 hours and starboard engine has 947 hours smoh. There are 2 Onan generators, 8 & 20kw. There are Naiad stabilizers, AirSeps and oil change systems. There are redundant navigational electronics including 72 mile Furuno radar w/6' open array, Robertson autopilots, Northstar 952X plotters, Northstar 800 converted to sat nav, Furuno graphic depthfinder, 300 watt sideband radio, RapidFix 406 Epirb and much more. For entertainment there are new Toshiba flatscreen lcd tv/dvds for each stateroom and a retractable 25" Toshiba flatscreen coupled to a Sony dvd home theatre system for the salon. There is an ingenious 4 station phone system that handles both land and cell calls. Of course there is a dinghy, an 11' Whaler w/20 hp electric start Johnson outboard.

All canvas including upgraded strataglass was replaced in '06. Bottom paint redone in summer '09. Brightwork, which already looked spectacular, was updated Aug '13. Also all new Rolls batteries Aug '13.

We believe this is a special and think you will agree once you have seen her. All offers are encouraged.
