"WHAT'S NEXT 1" Has a traditional 53' Hatteras layout with a large aft deck, which enters into a spacious main salon which also adjoins the lower wheelhouse area. A comfortable staircase with landing area leads to the galley which has updated appliances and dinette area. Forward of the galley is the forward guest stateroom with ensuite head and shower, and the full size washer and dryer stacking units are also in this area. Aft of the galley there are walk in full height engine rooms to port and starboard, and then a guest cabin with two lower berths and head opposite, and then aft of this is the large aft master with queen berth and large hanging lockers and cabinet storage. Broker's Remarks
This vessel underwent surveyor-supervised major maintenance in 1999. The vessel's manufacturer recommended the "Interlux" bottom system, any evidence of osmosis was removed & repaired, and the bottom was professionally renewed. During the refit, new propulsion engine cooling water intakes with sea strainers were fitted. As well, the rudders were removed, the shafts tested, cleaned and machined, and new bearings were fitted to the hull using silicon bronze fastenings supplied by the manufacturer. New rudder fairings were molded in place. The rudder struts were re-fastened, re-bedded and aligned. Both propulsion engines were checked for alignment, where necessary, shims were replaced. One motor mount was repaired. New Racor fuel filter units were installed. Various gaskets were replaced as needed. The swim platform was re-fastened. All new control cables, both throttle and shifters for both helm stations were installed. The exhaust system for the genset was completely replaced. The decks were re-awlgripped/non-skidded (Summer 2000). In the galley, a new rangetop and microwave/convection oven were installed. This fresh water kept yacht is a great liveaboard or cruising vessel with its naturally aspirated diesel engines which burn very little fuel at hull speeds of 9-10 knots. "Video Available" Smaller Trades Will Be Considered.
