There are four luxurious Staterooms and four heads. This vessel offers a spacious salon with a U-shaped sofa to port with the gourmet galley and large dinette forward of the salon. An interior staircase leads from the salon upward to the enclosed flybridge. Dr. Dark offers a spacious 192-square-foot cockpit with fighting chair that is ideal for sportfishing, cruising or entertaining. In addition, there is mezzanine seating available for anglers and guests. If there is one thing that stands out about this boat it is the exceptional 21'6' beam. It offers a spaciousness that is not found on vessels of similar size. Dr. Dark has four roomy staterooms and four heads. The lavish, full-beam master stateroom is aft and midship offering complete privacy to the owner and super comfortable sleeping accommodations in a true king-sized berth. All interior wood is lacquered cherry giving a luxurious feel to the entire interior. There is no doubt that Dr. Dark represents one of the finest 68' Hatteras Convertibles on the market today. She has been professionally maintained by a conscientious owner and a veteran, experienced captain. In November of 2009, Her Caterpillar engines were replaced under warranty by Caterpillar with NEW C32A engines. With2080 engine hours she is perhaps the lowest-hour one on the market. Upon the current owner taking ownership, the most current 1000-hour engine service was performed by a certified Caterpillar dealer. There are approximately 300 hours remaining prior to the next 1000-hour service becoming necessary. This vessel has had Nothing but the best of maintenance and records are available for inspection by the next lucky owner. - The Salon is extremely spacious and features a large U-shaped Sofa to port with a varnished teak table with storage. There are surround sound speakers and a 46” TV, drop-down. Other features include a Whirlpool Ice Maker an enlarged spiral staircase to the enclosed flybridge. The large dinette is to starboard across from the galley. Amtico flooring is on the galley floor and at the salon entrance from the cockpit. Carpet cover the remaining flooring and there are carpet runners to protect it. The salon headliner is custom Whisper-wall with fluted valances and 2” wooden blinds offer privacy when needed. The salon door is pneumatically operated. The interior wood is classic cherry.
- The dinette is U-shaped with storage drawers beneath the seating. Across from the dinette is a spacious galley with granite countertops. It features a trash compactor and refrigerator/freezer drawers beneath the countertop. The cooktop is ceramic with four burners, a Microwave/convection oven, Garbage disposal and central vacuum outlet.

The master stateroom is located aft and is full beam, featuring a king sized berth. In this stateroom are to large opening portholes located to port and starboard. In the master head you will find a large walk-in shower, toilet, mirrored vanity with storage, Plexi mirrored ceiling. Head Hunter fresh water toilet and linen storage. It is airconditioned with solid surfaced countertops. There is a sink and storage vanity beneath the counter top.
The berth is a center-lined queen-sized berth, ideal for your special guest. The berth is hinged for access to storage beneath the berth. For entertainment, there is a 22” TV, Panasonic phone, and CD player. There is an overhead hatch. There are storage drawers beneath the berth and cedar-lined closets. There is a private head dedicated to this stateroom with a Head Hunter freshwater head, shower, mirrored vanity with storage beneath the countertop and sink.
Twin Berths that slide together to for a queen-sized berth. There are storage drawers and cabinets. Sony, 22” TV and Pioneer Stereo system. There is a cedar-lined hanging closet. This stateroom also has it’s own private head with fresh water toilet, stalled shower, sink and mirrored vanity with storage beneath. The countertops are solid surface. And the flooring is Amtico.
This stateroom features two single berths, a cedar-lined hanging closet 15” sharp TV, and Dresser with drawers. It also has entry to it’s own private head with fresh water toilet, solid surface countertop, sink, mirrored vanity, and stalled shower.
Just forward of the Galley is a utility room that houses the AC/DC electrical panel, a remote monitor screen for ships systems, Water maker controls, Freezer, Master stereo and entertainment controls, and central vacuum system.
The enclosed flybridge is accessed from the salon stairwell or the aft door. It features dual Stid helm and companion seats and an elevated L-shaped lounge seating aft. The helm features a vast array of electronics, Monitors, engine controls, three-piece solids windshields with windshield wipers. There are single lever clutch and throttle controls, controls for hydraulic NIAD stabilizer fins. there is a refrigerator and sink for keeping adequate refreshments for you and your guests. Out the sliding door are the aft control station and hydraulic outrigger controls, steering wheel and additional seating for guests. The aft bridge rail has a clear vinyl cover from the bridge railing to the deck. Defogger system for windshields. Aft control station to port aft deck for fishing and docking.
