A popular model, the Hatteras 58 was one of the largest full-production motor yachts of her era. Hatteras practically owned the market for big motor yachts in those days, and there was little to compete with the 58 short of an expensive, custom-built yacht. Featuring a full-width salon and offered with or without an enclosed aft deck, the Hatteras 58 was built on a solid fiberglass hull with moderate beam and a long keel. The standard three-stateroom, three-head interior has the salon open to the lower helm and the galley and dinette down. The flybridge is accessible from the wheelhouse or from the aft deck. Additional features include teak interior cabinets and paneling, port/starboard wheelhouse doors, separate walk-in engine rooms, and a full-size tub in the owner's stateroom. Detroit 8V92 550hp diesels cruise at 14-15 knots. This 1980 Hatteras 58MY has been stored under cover for the last 20 plus years. Boat would make a great live aboard with the 3 stateroom and 3 head layout. Mechanic reports that the Detroit 8v92TI (2) and Generator run with the port engine rebuilt with little or no hours. Bottom was cleaned during the summer months and diver states bottom was in good shape. Boat is clean throughout but needs updating and systems checked. Very fairly priced for the size and condition of the boat.
