These engines spin 48ââ?¬ï¿½ wheels (Propellers) which is a ton of power digging into the water to delicately and precisely maneuver her length into the tight quarters of the fuel dock or into a slip that has narrow fairways. Proper use of her props can overcome a multitude of adverse wind and current conditions. The current owners say they never missed side thrusters. Because of these handling characteristics, the current owner couple have been comfortable being the sole crew members maneuvering the Liberty when in port. Cruising speed is 10 knots at 1100 rpm which gives us a combined fuel burn of 9 gallons per hour.
