With her raised pilothouse and sturdy profile, the Hatteras 48 LRC has a no-nonsense appearance of a bluewater cruiser.  It’s the raised pilothouse that sets her apart from most of the competition; from here, she can be operated in complete privacy from the rest of the boat.  Deck doors provide quick access onto the side decks and a settee/watch berth is fitted right behind the helm.  The 48 LRC is a heavily built on a solid fiberglass, full displacement hull with rounded bilges and a long, deep keel.  Freeboard at the bow is quite high.  The master offers a queen sized berth while the forward stateroom offers a v-berth.  On the main deck, the galley is forward in the salon, the pilot house has a large “U” shaped dinette and the watch berth.  Additional features include the wheelhouse deck doors, radar mast, molded foredeck seating, an aft cockpit with lathe transom door, and a bow pulpit.  The 48 LRC is a wonderful live aboard or fully capable cruising vessel.

She is a well cared for 48 LRC that has stabilizers and a bow thruster.

Recently sold, her new owners already want a larger vessel.  She surveyed extremely well with minimal findings.   Great deal-Better boat!
