and features a deep keel and more transom dead-rise than most Hatteras designs of her era. She also has an innovative (and quiet) split exhaust system with side ports for idling and larger underwater outlets for speeds above 1,300 rpm. Below, the galley- down, two-stateroom floor-plan includes walk-around berths fore and aft, a full-size convertible dinette, and stall showers in both heads. An optional three-stateroom layout moved the dinette up into the salon while adding the third cabin opposite the galley. The cockpit is far too small for any serious fishing activities, but it is suitable for line handling and getting on and off the boat. The aft deck, on the other hand, is large enough for serious entertaining.
