Other Hatteras boats for sale in Rhode Island, United States
This Hatteras model had a very long run as it was a popular boat for those looking for a nice master and plenty of living space. She had two configurations in her life. The new style came out in 1989 and continued until 1997. She is a well designed aft cabin boat thought to be sent off to the European market but took hold here in the US. There were 128 of these built over the years.
She has a modified V-hull and one of the first to have shallow prop pockets which reduced the shaft angle and gave her a shallower draft. She is equipped with a pair of 375hp Catââ¬â¢s that will cruise her about 18 knots.
The upper aft deck is a fantastic place to hang out while on the dock or underway. Just a couple steps up and you are on the bridge. There is nice seating here for the guests and a great view from the helm. Down just a couple steps from the aft deck you enter the salon. Nice sofa seating here and plush carpets through out. The galley is down to port with good access to the salon. The galley features a stainless steel sink with garbage disposal, pressure hot-and-cold water and a stand-up refrigerator/freezer. There is a built-in microwave along with an electric three-burner Princess stove with oven, under cabinet lighting and good counter space for easy meal prep. There is a stateroom forward and a private head that doubles as the day head.
Aft of the salon is the full beam master. Nice walk around to the berth helps making the bed a breeze. There is plenty of drawers and closets for your belongings. The private head is to port and has a full shower, great cabinet and counter space.
This boat has been very well maintained over the years. The boat has been painted with the updated look of clean white not the old yellow white of the early models. The boat has served as a comfortable summer home on the water for years. But the owners say it is time to move on. They have enjoyed this boat for many years and expect the next owners will do the same.
