Highly sought after design and build. This is considered a trailer-able 32' sailboat with a retractable keel and rudder that has a shoal draft at only 1'8". That is correct 1'8" .. An absolutely incredible sailing boat for the Gulf Coast, Florida Keys and the Bahamas.
This boat is in wonderful shape, aggressively priced and has also had several newer features added and is at a very aggressive price point for her age, no low ballers please you are not needed at this time.

This is a great boat guys. Especially one that has been in storage for a while. She gets cleaned and or started on the hard every month (sometimes bi-monthly) but started and cleaned regularly. She also was completely detailed not long ago and still has a beautiful shine to her.
There is an electric retractable keel and transom mounted retractable fin that gives her an astonishing 1'8" draft. Absolutely perfect for southern Florida and outer islands, the Keys and the Bahamas. The engine is a highly respected Yanmar 3Y30 Diesel with only 185 hours.
There was some mast damage in 2020 - that had to be replaced. The new Buyer will be a benefactor of a brand-new mast and boom, new sails, new running and standing rigging ALSO all new electronics where installed at this time. Brand new bottom paint (very recent) that has not touched the water yet..
This boat is an incredible value. And there are not many of these out there in this newer age range... Once you see it you will want to make an offer in.. So we hope you act soon.. or you may miss the boat.
The Seaward 32RK is a recreational keelboat, built predominantly of fiberglass, with wood trim. It has a masthead sloop rig, with a bowsprit; a plumb stem; a vertical, walk-through transom; a lifting, transom-hung rudder controlled by a wheel and a lifting keel with a weighted bulb, actuated by an electric winch. It displaces 8,300 lb and carries 2,400 lb of ballast.
The walk-through transom has a swimming ladder and a hot and cold shower.
The boat has a draft of 6.42 ft with the keel extended and 1.67 ft with it retracted, allowing operation in shallow water or ground transportation on a trailer.
The boat is fitted with a Japanese Yanmar 3YM30 29 hp diesel engine for docking and maneuvering. The fuel tank holds 20 U.S. gallons and the freshwater tank has a capacity of 65 U.S. gallons
The design has sleeping accommodation for six people, with a double "V"-berth in the bow cabin, a U-shaped dinette table that forms a double berth and an aft cabin with a double berth on the port side. The galley is located on the starboard side just forward of the companionway ladder. The galley is L-shaped and is equipped with a two-burner stove and a double sink. A navigation station is opposite the galley, on the starboard side. The head is located just aft of the bow cabin on the port side.
The design has a hull speed of 7.41 knots
In a 2020 review in Blue Water Sailing, Sandy Parks wrote, "The 32RK has one signature design feature that makes it uniquely suitable for cruising in areas with a lot of shallow water and for sailors who want to trailer their boats. The RK in its name stands for 'retracting keel' which enables you to lower the keel to whatever depth you want, within reason, and to raise it again when the water starts to get thin. A simple electric winch raises and lowers the keel."
