Her hull is constructed of hand laid 18oz fiberglass cloth sandwiched with end grain balsa, an encapsulated lead keel, and a balsa cored on deck for strength and stiffness. Stepping below, one is surrounded in varnished teak joinery--a testament to the better build quality present aboard later Gulfstar models. Work space here is well thought, with plenty of preparation area and access to refrigeration. To starboard one finds a proper navigation station with chart table and seating. The entire space is comfortable and air conditioned. Moving aft through a corridor provides access to the engine and mechanical room and leads to the aft cabin. Here a king size athwartship berth with custom mattresses provide a comfortable berthing or relaxing space with en suite head and separate shower. Aft portlights and plenty of reading lights make the space inviting. The forward cabin includes a V-berth with custom mattresses and an en suite head and shower.
