Only 65 hours! The Greenline 33 Hybrid is the newest technology helping to make the boating world go Green! The hardtop is actually constructed with a 1.3 kw solar roof which helps to collect power for the Hybrid drive.  This boat can be run strictly by an electric drive.  Though it does have the abilty to be plugged in to shore power the sunroof gives a constant charge when there is sunshine to be had.  Running the boat in full electric mode will give you a speed of 6 knots producing no smoke, noise or wake and will take you about 20 nautical miles at lesser speeds, while speeds to 12 knots are easily attained under diesel power.  This is the only pre-owned 33 available in the US!  We are a Greenline dealer, please call to discuss this very unique vessel, over 300 sold worldwide!

The Biggest Pros and Cons

The 2011 Greenline 33 Hybrid offers a unique blend of innovative hybrid technology and practical design, making it an appealing choice for eco-conscious boaters. Here are some of the pros and cons of this model:

Pros

Hybrid Propulsion System: The standout feature of the Greenline 33 Hybrid is its hybrid diesel-electric propulsion, allowing for quiet, fuel-efficient cruising with minimal emissions.

Fuel Efficiency: Thanks to its hybrid setup, the boat consumes significantly less fuel compared to traditional diesel-powered boats of similar size.

Versatile Operation: It can operate in three modes—diesel, electric, or hybrid—providing flexibility depending on the cruising environment and conditions.

Ease of Handling: The design includes joystick controls and bow thrusters, making docking and maneuvering easier, especially for less experienced boaters.

Comfortable Interior: Despite its compact size, the 33 Hybrid offers a well-thought-out interior with comfortable sleeping arrangements, a functional galley, and a spacious cockpit.

Eco-Friendly: Reduced noise and emissions make it suitable for environmentally sensitive areas and enhance the overall boating experience.

Low Maintenance: The electric components reduce engine wear, potentially lowering maintenance costs over time.

Cons

Initial Cost: The advanced hybrid technology and innovative design come with a higher purchase price compared to conventional boats in the same category.

Battery Range: Electric-only mode is limited by battery capacity, which may restrict silent cruising time and require recharging or switching to diesel power.

Complexity: The hybrid system adds mechanical and electronic complexity, which might require specialized knowledge for maintenance and repairs.

Limited Speed: The focus on fuel efficiency and eco-friendliness means the boat may not reach high speeds compared to traditional powerboats.

Space Constraints: While efficiently designed, the interior space is relatively compact, which might be a limitation for larger groups or extended stays.

Availability of Parts: Being a niche hybrid model from 2011, sourcing specific replacement parts or qualified service providers could be more challenging.
