The Eastbay 43 "First Light" offers a two stateroom in a down galley arrangement. The owners stateroom has a centerline queen berth with three large drawers below the berth, six storage lockers run along the port & starboard sides of the hull. There are two hanging lockers - one to port and one to starboard. There is a Raytheon Maxiview instrument in the owners cabin along with the two openings, SS ports and a hatch overhead. The control for the air conditioning below is also in the owners stateroom.
Aft of the owners stateroom is a split head arrangement with the large shower stall to be starboard and the toilet and vanity to port. Each have an opening port and a dorade vent above.
Aft to starboard is the guest cabin which has been customized to offer a large single berth with four deep drawers below the berth. There is a hanging locker forward and a cabinet aft with four drawers. This cabin has an opening port and hatch above.
Opoposite the guest cabin is a nice U-shaped Galley with a three burner, Force 10 propane stove with oven, double ss sink, microwave oven and an evaporator plate refrigeration and a top load freezer. There are seven storage lockers and three drawers in the Galley along with a great pantry locker on the bulkhead as you come down the companionway steps. The galley is very "open" with a hatch opening port and is open to the main salon. Corian counter tops.
Main Salon
The main salon has many custom features. The helm is to starboard with a side door entry. A two person bench seat with an icemaker below and a storage locker. Behind the helmseat to starboard is a 6'6" settee with three storage lockers underneath. The berth also has a pullout for a large single berth.
The teak table is an adjustable hi/lo table with leafs that fold in. To port forward is a wonderful desk arrangement that looks down on the galley. this features a computer, custom fiddles with cubby holes, pencil holders, flip down front for the keyboard, etc. There is a Garmin GPS map 76 on a bracket and wired to an external antenna. There is also a Motorola phone system. There is a vertical chart kit, teak storage rack low along the portside and aft of the desk chair is a wonderful custom teak cabinet with two bookshelves and three locker drawers. Aft of the cabinet is a "low seat" settee with a small cabinet at the aft end and two storage lockers below.
The forward center window is opening along with an aft window and two side windows. There is an aft sliding door along with the helm side door. Air conditioning, eight overhead lights, flat screen TV that folds up to the overhead. Upholstery is a wheat color Grand Banks material. This is a wonderful living space.
