WILD MOOSE is a spectacular 46 Grand Banks Classic. Note that the 46 Classic has been described by the Power Boat Guide as "ranking among the finest cruising yachts ever produced".
After looking at every worthy GB 46 on the market, the present owner made his purchase decision not on price, but condition. A few months after purchase, the owner with his passion for excellence, placed WILD MOOSE into one of the finest yards in Virginia (Zimmerman's) for an extensive 12 month refit (2012-2013). The owner enjoyed his boat during the next season, then wanting to make his vessel as reliable and trouble free as possible, hired the most well regarded marine consultant available (Steve D'Antonio) to advise once again. That fall WILD MOOSE was placed back into the same yard for another 6 months for service and upgrades. A key goal of the refit was to increase reliability in systems and minimize concerns that older equipment would fail or require a lot of maintenance. Any mechanical or electrical system that was tired or prone to maintenance was replaced with new.
