This Grand Banks 42 was the show boat at the Cleveland Boat Show in February 1969. Fresh water since new! Only two owners in all this time. The original owner owned Gulliver for less than 3 years. She is powered by twin Ford 120 HP Lehman Diesels that operate properly, but with unknown hours, as the meters broke and were not repaired. These are heavy duty diesels and are the same engines found in large farm tractors. Onan diesel generator. Loaded with older electronics that are working fine. Some have been rebuilt, like the autopilot, with new electronic internal systems.

The port side settee in the main salon was removed and a custom entertainment center was built to Grand Banks plans and appears to be original. There was a second Norcold refrigerator built into this area in 1991. The original Norcold refrigerator was replaced around 1990, so there are two. The built in freezer has never been used and is located below the dinette area.

Gulliver is loaded with gear and equipment from 40 years of cruising the Great Lakes. There are many spare parts for the engines and systems. See the inventory list on this grand vessel.

She is in very good condition structurally. The bottom is caulked with Calahans Slick Seam so there is no need to replace the caulking ever, as it never hardens. The owner has recently painted the topsides of the hull. She has been stored inside cold storage every year.

If you have always wanted a trawler for the economical operation and safety, then you need to see this Grand Banks 42. She only burns about 4 gallons per hour at 1700 rpm and runs at 7.5-8 knots. Come see Gulliver and take her on your travels today!
