Broker's Remarks
"GRAND ADVENTURE" was built for an owner who had been focused on the purchase of a 55' Fleming. He built this yacht with its beautiful maple interior, granite counters, and interior cabinetry design of his choice, and with the guidance of an exceptional decorator, also created a very comfortable, well equipped, superior long range pilothouse yacht.
His main reason to choose to build a Grand Alaskan 60', rather that a 55' Fleming, besides having the opportunity to extensive personal choices during the construction process were based on the following issues:
The Grand Alaskan 60' Pilothouse had a master midship with its own private entrance, superior headroom in the engine room, a completely covered aft deck, the ability to carry a 14' Novurania with a 50hp outboard, a Pilothouse with 35 percent more volume, a VIP guest stateroom with a queen berth, a larger salon, galley, fly bridge, an on-deck head, substantially more storage, equivalent quality control, larger fuel capacity and standard equipment which included Naiad Stabilizers, dual Prop Wesmar Bow thruster, 1500 lb. Davit and dinghy, water maker, inverter, an extensive standard electronics allowance, Stidd seats in the Pilothouse and Flybridge, two Northern Lights generators and much more.
Since this yachts delivery it has fulfilled its owner desires and timetable, which allowed two 4-6 week cruises annually and now this low hour, Captain maintained yacht is ready for a new owner, who can also see all the reasons to purchase a Grand Alaskan, and this yacht comes without the normal wait time to build a new one.
The owner is moving up to a larger vessel, so there is motivation for an immediate sale.
