FRESHWATER GRAMPIAN G26 SLOOP

Are you looking for a FRESHWATER, trailerable and affordable small sailboat? Look for further! This 1972 Grampian G26 is a solid sailboat ready for the water. Current owner has had this Grampian since 1984 and she has been his “baby”.

All teak handrails and hatch slider wood has been replaced with Trex, which looks like lightly oiled teak….no maintenance. The bottom was freshly painted in 2011. Sails were refurbished some years back and still look like new. Another notable exterior feature is the generous cockpit measuring 7’ 10” long with high coamings and comfortable seats. The tiller steering makes the cockpit seem even more spacious and a removable cutout in the transom reveals mount for the outboard motor.

  • When not under sail the 1988 Mercury 9.9 HP will motor you along nicely. There is a new steel cradle included and winter 2011/2012 storage is pre-paid.  This boat is fast and stiff. She will do 7-8 knots easily in 16-18 knot winds without the need to reef.

The high-sided cabin boasts 6’ headroom and has berths for 4 along with head and galley.
