The 282 is an updated version of the company's popular 272 Sailfish which is one of the best-selling offshore fishing boats ever produced. With her generous beam, rakish good looks, and impressive feature list, the 282 ranks among the best in her class for fishability and performance. The cockpit layout is about as good as it gets in a 28-footer known for her reputation of quality construction. She features a huge, 59 Sq. Ft. functionally designed cockpit with an aft bench seat and transom rigging station. 40 Gal. live well with upgraded circulating pump in 2011, raw water wash down, and custom Bimini cover to provide shade when just enjoying some float time. Fiberglass hardtop with full Eisenglass and helm enclosure are in very good condition with all the electronics you'd expect and want including a Furuno radar/GPS/chartplotter/sounder and a 2011 Hummingbird 1198C SI Combo 10.5" screen fishfinder with down and forward scan, GPS and Navionics chip covering New York to Maine! Below, the cabin manages to provide all the necessary amenities without being cramped. An enclosed head with sink and shower is standard, and a quarter berth extends under the helm deck at the rear of the cabin providing 3 single berths for owner and guests.
