2008 Grady-White 300 Marlin powered by twin (factory rigged) Yamaha F-250's with 500 hours.  Purchased new in 2009.  Two owner boat thats clean, well-maintained and loaded with options.  Features include: SeaV2 hull, elevated bridge deck with aft seating, 32 gallon live-well and tackle station located directly behind the helm, rear bench seat.  Windlass, bow thruster, out-riggers, fischer-panda diesel generator (30-hours), Heat/AC, Garmin 12" GPS chartplotter, sounder/fishfinder combo.  TV, DVD, enclosed marine head with hot water and shower, compact galley to port, with cook-top, sink, microwave and fridge, Holly sole, forward V berth with dining table that doubles as a settee, spacious double berth under the bridge-deck, etc.  Full maintenance records since day one.  An aluminum triple axle trailer is available for additional cost.  Recently detailed, fresh batteries....ready for the water......don't miss this one!

Unlike many center consoles, it offers overnight accommodations, making it a versatile and family-friendly vessel. Measuring 30 feet 6 inches in length overall with a beam of 10 feet 7 inches, the Marlin 300 provides a spacious and stable platform for offshore fishing and extended trips.

Exterior Design and Cockpit

The Marlin 300 features a hull draft of 23 inches and a closed foredeck with a protected bridge and high windshield, which effectively shed green water in rough seas, ensuring a dry and safe ride offshore. The cockpit is designed with fishing in mind, offering 8 feet 10 inches of space from bolster to bolster and 6 feet 6 inches from the transom to the bait prep station, allowing ample room for multiple anglers to move and fish comfortably. The cockpit is 28 inches deep, with large bolsters and sturdy tow rails enhancing safety. Storage is well thought out, including rod storage under the gunnels and multiple rod holders on the cap rails and hardtop. The transom includes a door leading to a stern platform with a four-step ladder and grab rail for easy water access. Additional features include a freshwater shower wand, shore power connections, engine freshwater flush attachments, washdown hoses, battery switches, and circuit breakers housed in a dedicated compartment. The transom deck incorporates a cutting board over a storage compartment with pull-out tubs and battery storage below. A transom bench seat provides comfortable seating, and hatches grant access to the optional Fisher Panda 5 kW generator, pumps, seacock levers, water tanks, and a large insulated fish box.

Helm and Bridge Features

The helm deck is equipped with optional command chairs that are adjustable both vertically and horizontally, featuring ventilated backrests, swivel seats, flip-up bolsters and armrests, and fold-down footrests. Storage is integrated into the helm seats with locking drawers. The dash offers ample space for electronics and includes a Yamaha engine monitoring screen, compass, accessory switches, and a stainless steel tilt steering wheel. Controls for the twin Yamaha 300 horsepower V6 4.2-liter four-stroke outboards, trim tabs, stereo remote, and optional bow thruster are ergonomically positioned for ease of use. The fiberglass hardtop with a painted aluminum frame includes lockable storage boxes, storage nets, spreader lights, and opening side vents. Strata glass front and side curtains complete the enclosure, making the boat suitable for three-season use. Walk-around side decks with nine-inch bulwarks and tall rails provide safe access to the foredeck, which features a recessed design, a windlass with foot controls, a large hatch for the rode locker, and cushioned seating on the trunk cabin.

Interior Living Spaces

Below deck, the Marlin 300 offers comfortable accommodations suitable for overnight stays. The cabin includes a small galley to port equipped with a sink providing hot and cold running water, an electric stovetop set into a Corian countertop, a microwave, and a refrigerator. Acceleration was brisk, reaching planing speed in 3.3 seconds, 20 miles per hour in 3.9 seconds, and 30 miles per hour in 6.9 seconds. The hull’s 19.5-degree dead rise at the transom provided smooth handling through one-foot chop and 10-mile-per-hour gusting winds. Maneuverability was responsive and predictable, aided by the optional bow thruster and twin outboards, which facilitated easy docking and slip entry.
