Own one of the legendary boats that built the reputation that Grady-White enjoys today. This vessel was acquired by her current owner in 1998 and he has lovingly cared for the boat and updated her throughout his nearly three decades of ownership. This rare Dolphin 253 GT model has a hard top with eisenglass enclosure, bow pulpit and engine bracket. The fuel tanks were replaced in 2016 and she holds 240 gallons of gasoline. The hull was Awl gripped (painted) in 2021 and the rub rail was also replaced/updated
(back deck hatches and non-skid redone in 2023). In 2021 the vessel was also refitted with new 200 HP Honda 4-strokes which currently have approximately 180 hours on them.
Within the last few seasons the cockpit has received a new back deck with non-skid and the boat looks nice. She is outfitted with a SIMRAD Evo3 (9 inch) and 4G radar. A 1kw H/W thru hull was also replaced at the time of the engine refit. There are two ICOM VHFs (M424g and M330) and a Fusion stereo.
The captain's chairs are newer Pompanette custom seats.
The vessel holds 10 gallons of fresh water and has a salt-water wash down. Lee Jr 18ft outriggers are double rigged and include a center rigger. The hull was recently Soda Blasted and new barrier coats and anti-fouling were done within the last year. All thru-hull fittings are bronze!
This vessel includes a slip in Shark River for the 2026 season and is ready to fish and take you offshore!
