The 26-foot Grady-White Chase 263 center console is a tough family fisherman with innovative features. It's a rugged offshore competitor, with tanks to hold more than 200 gallons of fuel. The 263 Chase's sleek profile comes from the integrated outboard mounting system.The integrated bracket doubles as a swim platform complete with a stainless steel ladder. Entrance to the cockpit from the platform is through a standard transom door that's also suitable for landing big fish. In the cockpit is a large aft seat between the transom door and the portside lift-out storage box. Under the aft seat lid, all batteries, cables, filters and fuel switches are easily accessible. The standard lean bar aft of the console has a padded backrest with four built-in rocket launcher rod holders. The lean bar has lockable bulk storage and tackle trays. The optional 23-gallon livewell fits aft of the console and is easily removable. The console styling matches the graceful lines of the integrated bracket transom. It features a large lockable radio box, hand-holds, and a wind screen complete with farings. A starboard door opens into a large, stand-up head with storage shelves, lockers, pockets, and even a small hanging locker. The forward area has a standard console seat and port and starboard 120-quart insulated fish boxes with overboard drains. The portside box is divided into a larger and a smaller box by a removable polyethylene barrier. The smaller section is also slightly recessed and perfect for beverages. Six rods of up to eight feet can be safely stored and locked out of sight, and there are also four rod holders on deck. The molded-in vertical anchor locker also has rod storage space.
