The Grady-White 268 Islander (called the 270 Islander in 2002,
her last year of production) is a big trailerable walkaround
cabin with the quality, comfort and performance one expects of a
Grady-White product.� The 268 can hold her own with anything
in her class. With nearly 60 square feet of space, the Islander�s
uncluttered cockpit has plenty of space for two active anglers.
Standard features include an integrated swim platform, livewell, anchor locker, aft bench seat, insulated Canyon fish/storage bag cooler,
, transom door, lockable electronics box (helm), cockpit
shower, tackle storage, raw-water washdown, gunnel rod holders
(4), rod storage racks, cockpit lights, and trim tabs. Popular
options included a factory hardtop, bow pulpit, trim tabs, an an
auxiliary fuel tank. Cabin accommodations include a vee berth with table which converts to double and an enclosed head with toilet, sink, compact galley area� with sink, drawers and shelve storage.
The 268 Islander is a heavily built boat, Twin F-150 Yamaha 150hp 4 stroke with 1130 Original hours use. The F-150 Yamaha outboards will cruise at 26-28 MPH @ 4000 RPM's and reach a top end speed of approximately 40MPH.
