This Glastron 289 GS Sport Cruiser should have great appeal for anyone looking for a compact cruiser with a trailer in a budget friendly package. From first glance the boat has great eye appeal with smooth lines and a modern appearance, the large swim platform makes boarding easy and a covered swim ladder with large grab handle makes boarding from the water easy. Step inside the cockpit and the space is incredible for a 28 foot boat, the 9'1" beam is noticeable, a cockpit wet bar with refrigerator is a very nice feature and the lay-down carpeting gives the boat some extra eye appeal. The cockpit upholstery is in very good overall condition and there is a cockpit table and a cockpit filler cushion, allowing for a nice multi use area. The port side lounge is noteworthy as its very deep, you're under the windshield and is comfortable while cruising. The Captain should be impressed with an oversized helm seat that has a flip up bolster and a very user friendly helm, the center mount Hummingbird Depthfinder/GPS is a nice feature and the gauges are easy to read, all switches are within easy reach and all have pop out breakers located under each switch for easy resets if needed. A remote spotlight and your windlass anchor controls are also just in front of the wheel on the dash for easy access. Getting to the bow is also very easy as Glastron has built the steps into the cabin door and the walk through windshield gives access to the bow where you will find foot controls for the windlass anchor.

Step down inside the cabin and the fit, finish and attention to detail should impress, as Glastron did a very nice job with their flooring, upholstery, counter tops and cabinetry. The forward dinette has a very nice table and can convert into a large forward berth. The galley is compact but the way Glastron covered the sink and cook top there is a very nice amount of counter space when needed. A built in coffee maker and microwave add to the amenities. The mid cabin design gives you an additional aft berth and thanks to the boat's 9'1" beam it's very sizable for a 28 foot boat. Step into the head and the head room should impress, it is all fiberglass lined for easy cleaning and it has electric flush.
