The Glacier Bay Renegade 2240 SX proved to be a smooth riding power catamaran. She handled the rough chop without any problems. The Renegade 2240 makes a wonderful cross-over for the family that loves to fish but still wants to have room to just enjoy a day of cruising.
The bow of the Renegade uses the catamaran width to give you lots of room to relax. Topside is an anchor roller and line locker for when you want to just hang out with room to stuff the fenders inside. Stepping into the bow area, you have a comfortable space to sit and enjoy chatting with family and friends. If you have someone who enjoys laying out in the sun, you can add an optional filler cushion. Deep storage is under the seats taking advantage of the catamaran design. Under the starboard side is some dedicated rod storage.
Across from the helm is a locking changing room with electric head in the companion compartment. Most times, this compartment is just large enough for a small-sized adult to squeeze into, but with the Glacier Bay 2240 Renegade design, this is a stand-up compartment.
