DRIVE SYSTEM
- The Gemini 105Mc features a Steerable Sonic Drive leg, often referred to as the "Stelet Drive System." This unique propulsion system is a key feature of the Gemini catamaran, providing excellent maneuverability and efficiency. The Steerable Sonic Drive is essentially an outdrive-style propulsion unit mounted at the stern. Unlike traditional fixed-shaft inboard systems, this drive leg can be steered independently of the rudders, allowing for tight turns and precise handling, especially in close-quarters docking situations. One of its biggest advantages is its retractability. When sailing, the drive leg can be lifted completely out of the water, reducing drag and improving sailing performance.
