Freedom Yachts, Built in Rhode Island by Tillotson Pearson have always been ahead of their time. Windrose is a Deck Salon/Pilothouse model with a Freedom unstayed carbon fiber schooner rig. She points well and has exceptional performance downwind and broad reaching. She can be sailed from her cockpit or from her pilothouse helm below.
She's powered with a Yanmar 50 HP diesel, a 2013 Mainsail, and headsail in good condition and with this self tacking rig she is easy to sail shorthanded.
New fuel and holding tanks and hoses 2014!
Electronics are adequate but could use some updating. She has just completed an epoxy bottom job and sports new bottom paint and is blister free. She has tremendous space below with a forward stateroom and aft VIP cabin, full galley with large salon area and table and a second pilothouse with steering station. She has gobs of storage capacity and will make a great liveaboard or long distance cruiser.
