"Singlehanded" is one of the most highly sought-after cruising designs. Gary Mull designed the free-standing rigged sloop to be handled solo, and the seaworthiness and ease of sailing have made this boat intensely popular. This gal was just refitted in 2017 and was ready to head to the islands, but is now being sold due to owners' change of plans. You have everything to gain from this boat!

Practical Sailor Magazine said of this model: "Probably the most distinctive thing youll be getting in the Freedom 36 is the ease of handling. We cant imagine how you could get a 36-footer that sails well and make it any easier to handle. A lot of the joy of sailing is making the wind work for you, and the Freedom 36 gives you more return for your labor than any other boat weve sailed."

  • Replaced the cutlass bearing in 2017

  • Sails: Reinforced the mainsail and jib professionally

  • NEW stack pack and jib cover

  • Replaced the top of the dodger's canvas

  • Added a topping lift, serviced the reefing system, including removing and servicing the boom.

  • Batteries: Replaced batteries with 2 AGM batteries in April 2017 totalling ~400Ah

  • Ground tackle: Replaced ground tackle with a 44lb Rocna and Lewmar windlass. It's brand new and working great.

  • Autopilot: Just installed a brand new Garmin autopilot that talks to our Garmin chartplotter

  • Replaced battery monitor, galley faucet, water accumulator, shower pump (which has never been used!), seal on the head, and bilge pump

  • Bilge is clean and pumps run well.

  • Replaced propane line and regulator.

  • ePIRB, Iridium, harnesses/tethers/jacklines and a ton of extras onboard.

  • Added an outboard lift arm

  • Inflatable 8ââ?¬â?¢5ââ?¬ï¿½ Achilles dinghy and 6hp Tohatsu outboard motor included.

  • Includes rail-mounted propane Magma grill in the cockpit.

  • Previous owner added HVAC system that works on shore power.
