The V248 is a moderately sized cruiser just right for frequent voyages for families and couples.
At the helm, tilt steering and a dual helm seat with flip-up bolsters. A refined charcoal instrumentation panel is equipped with Faria gauges, including a standard tachometer with hour meter, fuel gauge, oil pressure, speedometer, temperature gauge and volt meter, all with fog-resistant lenses, surrounded by polished bezels. A compass is included to guide the way, along with a depth sounder with shallow water alarm.
The cockpit has been restyled to maximize smart space usage, complete with opposing stern seats with a removable table and which also converts to a large sun deck.. A removable 36-quart cooler is included. This 248 is also equipped with a complete camper canvas in excellent condition as well as a cockpit cover.
The cabin is extremely spacious for its class and can comfortable sleep 4. The forward table lowers making a sleeping berth in the bow. The aft cabin comfortably sleeps 2 with ample headroom. The central ac with heat makes the cabin completely livable even in the hottest of summer days. The galley has a an electric stove, microwave, refrigerator, and hidden trash can in the steps.
This is a fantastic small cruiser to spend a weekend on. It drives as easy as a small runabout and performs nearly the same. The 248 is one of the most enjoyable compact cruisers ever made.

Leading to the cabin is an acrylic door with screen to provide both privacy and ventilation. Below is a comfortable dining area that converts to become a forward berth with a hatch above and storage nestled underneath. Both inviting and practical, the cabin is outfitted with vinyl seat cushions and back rests, and accented with fabric sidewall liner. An interior decor package in Gulf Stream Blue, Harmony Black or Ocean Sand is included in standard pricing to enhance comfort and atmosphere. The galley showcases a covered sink with ample granite-look counter surface and elegant woodgrain cabinets with lighting mounted underneath. The V248?s home-like conveniences include a microwave and electric flush-mount stove. For those who plan to travel far and wide, air conditioning/heating is an option. Behind a locking door is the V248?s fully-functional head. A sink and vanity with mirror, along with a medicine storage area, and overhead lighting make the space efficient and home-like. The porcelain head and shower area is well-ventilated by the screened portlite and power ventilation fan. A hot water system makes showering pleasant and comfortable. Extra space is available in the mid cabin, featuring storage for hanging items and a sidewall cabinet. A screened window is also built in for excellent ventilation. The wide-opening berth accessway is equipped with a curtain for privacy.
Entertainment is always accessible with an iPod/MP3 port and 12 VDC receptacle at the helm and in the cabin, making it easy to enjoy a music collection or charge a cell phone. A Sony AM/FM/CD player is standard. A color-matched canvas camper system is included as standard equipment, and converts the cockpit to a fully sheltered entertainment area or extra sleeping accomodations. A stainless steel arch with ski tow is available, ideal for water sports enthusiasts. The spacious extended swim platform is sure to be a popular spot for sun lovers, and it is equipped with the signature Four Winns angled, deep-reach hidden ladder with wide-step pads for the swimmer?s comfort, and a hot/cold transom shower.
