Additional Details
The Faria gauges include a compass, tachometer with an hour meter, fuel gauge, oil pressure, speedometer, temperature, trim, and volt meter. The plastic lenses in these gauges are specially coated to resist fogging and condensation. A depth sounder designed to alert boaters of shallow water is also built into the F224?s helm. And when routine maintenance calls, the engine hatch has gas assisted lifts. An iPod/MP3 port and 12 VDC receptacle are at the helm, making it easy to enjoy a music collection or charge a cell phone. The port is located in a storage cubby lined with non-skid material that minimizes sliding and jostling of electronic devices. Comfortable seating and practical storage is plentiful on the F224. In the cockpit, new bucket seats are more accommodating with suspension and bolsters for an extra smooth ride. The deluxe bucket seats also feature improved single-mechanism adjustment, and headrests that boast the Four Winns logo. The spacious wrap-around seats in the cockpit and removable bow seating provide lots of elbow room. Of course, seats feature Aquaflex vinyl, tops in marine-grade upholstery and the cockpit includes snap-in carpet over a fiberglass liner. There?s even a starboard cockpit table that maximizes legroom with its smart angled mounting bracket. It also features built-in stainless steel cupholders for easy snacking and friendly conversation. Plus, the walk-through transom opens the boat for easy coming and going. Storing the gear is always a challenge in boating, but the F224 makes it simple. The F224 packs generous storage beneath the U-shaped bow seats, a large helm compartment, and an in-floor locker large enough for skis, kneeboards, or wakeboards. There?s an anchor locker at the bow, complete with a hidden ladder. The F224 features a bimini top constructed of high quality canvas and stainless steel hardware. A wildly popular option is the hinging stainless steel arch, ideal for traveling in low clearance areas and great for simple maintenance. In addition, a hard top is available. The boat is also equipped with docking lights. A fishing package is available with aft and stern pedestal seats. Or for water sports enthusiasts, wakeboard tower and extra speakers can enhance the optional Sony stereo upgrade for those who seek the next level of performance. Customers can select from many engine choices: Volvo Penta choices range from 5.0 GXi/SX 270 hp to 5.7 Gi/DP 300 hp; or MerCruiser power from 5.0 MPI/Alpha 260 hp to 350 MPI/Bravo III DTS 300 hp.

A Four Winns-manufactured Sure-Loa trailer is standard. Its low-profile bunk design keeps the boat?s center of gravity low, for greater stability while towing. Because it has been custom-designed to fit the running surface, launching and loading are quick and easy. Tops in safety, this Four Winns trailer is equipped with brakes, enhanced LED lights and built-in ratchet straps. Ideal for saltwater use and long-hauls, the galvanized trailer with GatorHyd is available for even greater durability; and a Turbo Lube system with oil bath bearings facilitates quick and easy visual oil inspections.
