MANUFACTURER DESCRIPTION
 The heavy modified hull with cored hullsides and extended swim platform make this boat strong enough to carry a PWC or inflatable dinghy. The 298's plus interior is arranged in the conventional manner with double berths for and aft, equipped with a convertible dinnete, galley, and standup head compartment with VacuFlush Toilet. With twin 280hp Volvo 5.7 liter sterndrives deliver a top speed of around 40 knots.


With her wide beam, generous accommodations and impressive standard equipment list, the 298 Vista became a popular model for Four Winns following her 1999 introduction. Note that a sliding screen door?a seldom seen accessory on any express cruiser?backs the companionway hatch. On deck, the seat cushion on the driver?s side of the double helm seat flips up to create a leaning post, and molded steps in the console provide access to the foredeck via the walk-through windshield. Standard features include a removable aft seat, cockpit table, tilt wheel and full camper canvass.



The Four Winns 298 Vista features an innovative three-way portside lounge, along with a uniquely sculpted aft cockpit, and built-in entertainment center. The cabin appointments below provide gracious living to the already superior cruiser above, including a roomy midcabin with adjacent hanging lockers for added convenience. A starboard side galley offers impressive storage while maintaining outstanding aesthetics. A solid wood table at the dinette enhances the galley's appealing finish. The head offers a large shower and full personal facilities. A cozy portside settee in the forward cockpit is perfect for entertaining.
