2004 31 Fountain Center Console with 2004 Float-On Trailer. 2004 Mercury 225 Optimax's with approximately 1750 hours and 4-blade Stainless Steel Props. Both engines have new water pumps, new sparkplugs, fresh oil in lower units, port engine has new trim cylinder, and starboard engine had a new powerhead in 2023. Motors run fantastic. Newer paint, Simrad Electronics with Radar/Autopilot. New speakers and stereo, new interior, new Interstate batteries. Trailer has new brake lines, new rotors, brakes, and calipers. Like all Fountains, the 31 is engineered for unmatched stability while fishing, combining a low center of gravity with a beam that's perfectly matched to the boat's centerline. The end result is a hull design that needs less horsepower at on-plane speeds, which translates into an extended range and big savings at the fuel dock. The 31 offers full 360-degree access around the boat with wide walkways, strategically placed stainless steel grab rails, plenty of rod holders and padded coaming panels. For convenience, the 31 has an enclosed porta-potti with plenty of headroom hidden in the center console. In addition to an oversized 450-quart insulated fish locker under the raised, non-skid casting platform, there's a standard, round 50-gallon livewell mounted aft well above deck for easy access and an insulated ice chest under the hinged bottom cushion of the offshore-style leaning post helm seat. Rods store out of the way in two 8-foot floor lockers and there's an amidships compartment below deck for accessories. On the helm, all gauges and controls are protected. Overhead, high-tech electronics are within easy reach.
