AccommodationsThe companionway leads down from the salon and galley area directly to the accommodations area. This purposeful design allows for a lower center of gravity and eliminates the need for guests to transit the pilothouse to access the staterooms and heads. The master cabin is forward, with a VIP guest cabin to port and a second guest bunk cabin to starboard. There is an ensuite head to the master cabin, and the two guest cabins share a second head. This arrangement also gives day guests access to the head without the need to enter a sleeping cabin, keeping those areas private. The area features:
Master Cabin
Forward is the master cabin featuring the center line queen berth, extensive lockers and drawers, and a generous ensuite head with shower stall. The upper areas are trimmed in teak to enrich the cabin. A bookshelf is fitted around the hull, port and starboard. Other features include:

VIP Guest Cabin
Aft of the master, to the port side, is the VIP Guest cabin. It is the standard Fleming set up with twin beds, plus the optional upper bunk that slides in and out of position as needed, to accommodate the differing needs of guests. Note the large hanging locker, and numerous drawers. Other features:

Engine and Mechanical SystemsAud Kate is powered by twin venerable Caterpillar 3208 TA diesel engines at 435 hp each. The engines are fresh water cooled through heat exchangers with CAT air filters on intakes and coolant recovery tanks. The engines have been serviced by Delta Marine Service.
